He joined San Antonio Commercial Advisors in 2017 and in partnership with Scott Weems, focuses his practice on multifamily investments, providing best in class research, advisory and brokerage services. He is known for delivering the highest quality results through providing superior market intelligence, forging deep client relationships, and utilizing his extensive transactional experience to deliver the best possible results in every market execution.

Mike began his career in commercial real estate in the Austin office of Marcus & Millichap, a national real estate investment services firm, as an agent specializing in multifamily investment sales. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2006 and named a Director of the firm’s National Multi Housing Group that same year. He was the #1 producing agent in the Austin and San Antonio offices every year, earned several national sales awards, and was recognized on multiple occasions as a “Top 10” producer for the entire state of Texas.

Most recently, Mike served as a Regional Manager for Marcus & Millichap, responsible for market leadership of over 50 investment sales and financing agents in the firm’s San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and New Mexico markets. During his tenure, he trained and mentored many agents that have gone on to be top producers at Marcus & Millichap. He was recognized nationally for his leadership in agent development where he facilitated numerous national training events and was instrumental in developing the firm’s training and development curriculum. In his career with Marcus & Millichap, he led the sales and marketing efforts of more than $2.5 billion in investment sales and financing transactions. He was promoted to Vice President in 2013.

Prior to his career in real estate, Mike served as a U.S. Marine Corps officer for more than 13 years, holding leadership positions in both field artillery units and recruiting commands. After his military career, he held several corporate finance positions at Advanced Micro Devices in Austin. He holds both a bachelor’s degree in geology and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
